Form of study: Distance (on internet). 2-3 visits to the university are required during the whole course.

1st visit - when enter university, 2nd visit - in the midlle of the course (optional, on request of the tutor), 3rd visit - for State Examination and Graduation.

Application period:  Jul 15th  – November 15th

Classes start in December.

Admission criteria:

• for Bachelor`s degree – completed Secondary school 
• for Master`s degree – related Bachelor`s degree

Belgorod Shukhov State Technology University  is  a modern university campus, where educational and laboratory buildings are situated next to each other, as well as a scientific and technical library, dormitories, housing for faculty and staff, canteens,  the student’s Palace of Culture, sports grounds, a swimming pool, a stadium - one of the best high school athletic facilities in Chernozemje.

According to the  quality of education, the staff, the number of institutes , the list of specialties,  the level of scientific work and material basis  Belgorod Shukhov State Technology University is considered one of the best universities in Russia.

The University consists of 9 departments - Building materials and the technosphere safety, Economics and management, Technological equipment and manufacturing, Architectural and building, Information technology and management systems, Transportation and technology, Energy, Correspondence , Distance education.

The educational process and scientific research are carried out by more than 150 doctors and professors, including 47 academicians and corresponding members of the state and public academies, more than 400 PhDs and professors, more than 30 winners of the honorary titles,  5 distinguished inventors.

Preparation of engineering staff is performed in 40 directions and specialties.  This helps to solve complex staff problems for building and construction  companies. The total number of students is more than 25 thousand. More than 5000 from 35 regions of Russia and from abroad study at the Institute of distance education. There are also programs conducted in English medium for foreign students. 

Belgorod Shukhov State Technology university affords the programs of correspondent high education by means of distance technologies. The university uses a complex methodology that includes classroom component, working with specialized teaching materials and interactive teaching methods,which the educational process understandable to everyone.

Open education - is a controlled process of interactive communication between a professor and a student regardless of their location. Open education is realized by implementing a specific didactic system of different levels and programs.

A Universty representative visits students capital cities every year to conduct "help out" seminars for students. Also studets have a local supervisor who controls their studies and helps them to keep in touch with the university.

as it is necessary for the development of personal discipline and the course to obtain the necessary knowledge on selected subjects.

Entrance exams are conducted in two steps: as a test and an interview. Distance education is provided on a fee basis.

After graduation, you will get the state sample diploma of the higher professional education.

Distance learning  is an effective way to get a degree, which allows to combine study and everyday life. The basis of the educational process for distance learning is a deliberate and controlled  work of a student who can learn in a comfortable place. Each student has an individual schedule, a set of special materials and the possibility of contact with the teacher.

Distance education technology is adapted to the general categories of citizens: high school graduates and employees, the disabled, military personnel, retirees, housewives, etc.

The student can choose different ways of receiving educational information. First of all each student receive paper-printed materials. If he prefers to work  with computers, the student can receive all the materials on CD. Created and gradually updated electronic library and media library, which implements all advantages of digital learning. All of these training materials are duplicated on the web site of distance learning institute with access to a global network. So you can also continue the education process on the web-site.

Communication between students and teachers is carried out in several ways: by visual contact (during weekend seminars and consultations), via telephone and postal services, e-mail; on and off-line Internet services (forum, chat, ICQ, video conferencing, etc ..)
